An AI request from your hand
Natura has announced Interface, a smart ring designed to connect your voice with AI agents. TechCrunch reported an introductory price of $99 on October 8, 2026. The idea is simple: press the ring’s button and make a spoken request without first opening an app on your phone.
Natura’s product page describes three main uses: asking an agent for help, recording a conversation and saving a thought. Requests and results can be reviewed in its NatureOS software. The ring is an interface to connected agents, rather than a promise that all AI processing happens inside the ring itself.
AI features and health tracking
TechCrunch reports planned connections with services including Claude and ChatGPT, among others. Treat the supported lineup as something to confirm before ordering, rather than assuming every integration is already available.
The company describes health features such as heart-rate readings, sleep stages, step counts and skin-temperature tracking. However, Natura’s website says health capabilities are still being validated and will be confirmed before release.
The company lists a battery estimate of six to 12 days for typical daily use, while noting that recording time and health-reading frequency affect the result. That is a manufacturer estimate, not a battery result from our own testing. Quiet-speech performance and noise handling are also described as being in validation.
The price is only part of the story
According to the TechCrunch coverage, preorders are expected in November 2026, with shipping planned for December or January. It also reports plans for a $9 monthly subscription after an initial three-to-six-month free period, and a possible later increase in the device price. These are reported plans, not a guarantee of final checkout terms.
There is an important caution on the official website: it currently invites people to join a waitlist and says price, battery life and delivery timing will be confirmed before ordering. Readers should therefore treat the $99 figure as a reported introductory plan, not a verified India retail price or a ready-to-ship offer.
Before buying, check final compatibility, regional availability, subscription terms and what happens to voice recordings. If using it to record conversations, consider other people’s privacy and obtain appropriate permission. The announcement alone does not answer every practical question a first-time buyer will have.
My take
A ring could be a convenient way to capture ideas without constantly checking a screen. I would wait for confirmed terms and independent testing before deciding whether it offers enough value beyond a phone’s existing voice features.
