How to post it so the join is invisible
- Download all the slides. They save as slide-1, slide-2 and so on.
- In Instagram, tap the carousel icon and pick them in that exact order. Picking them out of order is the one mistake that ruins this post, and there is no way to fix it afterwards — you have to delete and start again.
- Do not let Instagram crop them. Each slide is already 1080×1350, which is the size it wants, so leave the crop control alone.
- Do not apply an Instagram filter. It gets applied per slide, and tiny differences between slides make the joins visible.
Which photos work
The photo needs to be wider than it is tall, and the wider the better. A landscape shot splits into two or three slides cleanly; a vertical selfie does not, because the tool has to stretch or crop it badly to fill the width.
Keep the face away from the cut lines. The dashed guides show you exactly where each slide ends — if a face sits on a line it gets sliced in half, and that is what people notice first. Drag the photo until the faces sit inside a slide, not across a join.
Two slides is the safest choice. Three works when the photo is genuinely wide, like a group shot or a landscape. Four needs a panorama — anything else goes soft, because each slide is still exported at full 1080px width and the original does not have those pixels to give.
FAQs
Why did only one file download?
Some phone browsers block several downloads in a row and ask permission for the rest. Allow it when the prompt appears, or tap the button again — the slides save one after another with a short gap.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The tool reads the file in your browser and redraws it on a canvas. There is no upload and no copy kept — close the tab and it is gone.
Can I use AI-generated photos?
