Where do I get the template link?
VN Video Editor
- Finish your edit as a normal project in VN.
- On the Home screen, tap […] next to the project and choose Create Template.
- Pick which clips and texts the user can replace, then tap Next and keep the app open while it exports.
- On the Publish Template screen add a title, set options like User Footage Size and Keep Audio from User Videos, then save.
- Share the template and copy the link it gives you. Paste that link in the box above.
CapCut
Publish your edit as a template in CapCut, open it in the Template section and use Share → Copy link. Paste that link above to get a QR your followers can scan.
How people use the QR
- Open VN and tap the Scan icon.
- Scan the QR code; the template loads in the app.
- Tap Download, then Use.
- Select the clips for each slot, tap Next and export.
Tips before you share a template
- Test your own QR once on a second phone. A template that doesn’t open is the fastest way to lose followers.
- Write the clip count and clip lengths next to the QR, so people prepare the right footage.
- Keep the QR image at least 600px wide when you post it on Instagram, otherwise scanning fails.
- Use music that the platform allows. Copyrighted audio inside a shared template can get your post muted.
